Gaia
was born in the winebago of a traveling gypsy show in Spain. When she
was sixteen the act caught the attention of a visiting prince who immediately
offered to pay their passage to his country to perform for royalty (We
will not
disclose the name of the country; suffice it to say that the palace
was the only
residence with indoor plumbing). Once the troupe realized that they'd
been
hired to play the "royal instruments" instead of their music,
they escaped the
palace. Gaia met up with a kindly American missionary who took her picture
for his
"catalog." Six months later she was in the U.S. as a mail
order bride. She
endured her psoriasis ridden husband for two years before hitting the
streets of
New York where you can see her art displayed for sale outside
of massage salons and dungeons across the city.
